Curatis Corp was founded to bridge the gap between innovation and accessibility in prosthetic technology. Mohamed Dhaouafi saw firsthand the challenges faced by amputees and set out to create a more functional, adaptive and accessible solution. Starting with a small, passionate team, the group developed the Hannibal Hand, a lightweight, muscle-controlled bionic hand with customizable grip modes and haptic feedback. To enhance the user experience, we introduced 3D-printed sockets, the MyoLink app for training, and adjustable designs to ensure a perfect fit.
Over the following years, that founding work grew into a group of companies. Robotics and decentralized digital manufacturing replaced artisanal production. Certified device engineering matured into a regulated, repeatable process, and clinical operations grew into dedicated fitting centers where devices are adjusted and supported by certified practitioners. An AI driven software layer now connects the whole chain, from scan and design to fit, rehabilitation and operations.
Today, Curatis Corp is shaping the future of prosthetics and orthotics by combining advanced technology with user-driven design. Our mission remains clear: to redefine prosthetics and empower lives through accessible, high-performance bionic solutions, and to extend that capability to patients and communities who would otherwise go without, through the Curatis Foundation.
